I took part in two Acorn Hacks and they were both brilliant. Seeing young people build early stage tech apps, platform and products is very inspiring.
These events are a great opportunity to get women and girls excited about tech. Digital skills are they key to many creative careers and by learning about computing, young women can open up a range of opportunities.”
After attending your hackathon my daughter changed her GCSE subjects to Computer Science and she now wants to study Computer Science at Cambridge University

It was very interesting to learn the process of developing software and managing a team. I had never previously heard of agile management and SCRUM and will mention it in my personal statement for uni as I am applying for computer science and management.
